today we ran out of fish and so it was a day off. instead of just laying around and being lazy all day we went on a tour. as we were waiting for our vans to arrive i learned about all of the gang signs.
i'm becoming a pretty solid g.
anyways, once our ride arrived it became apparent that we were going to be quite squished.

our first stop was to the glacier. it was cool, but we had a better time skipping rocks and seeing who could throw rocks the farthest. (sorry kari, i let you down and lost. i'll work on it...)

next we went to the fish hatchery, which was way cooler than i expected. we saw a HUGE sea lion and a bunch of otters.we watched them catch the fish and i really enjoyed it. the pictures of the animals actually just look like tiny dots so i won't even bother putting them on.

next we got to see the waterfalls. i LOVE the waterfalls here. i may be slightly addicted but that is just fine.

unfortunately the day wasn't perfect. at the last waterfall some of the boys hiked too high and they kicked down some big rocks. for those of us at the bottom it became a game of dodge rock, and ashton lost. poor kid. but we doctored him up and no worries he is all better now.

luckily we had some crafty thinkers and everything was all right.
i'm really enjoying it up here in the A.K. i've met some fabulous new friends, and i'm making money. what could be better?
